When I was living in Wilmore a small town in Kentucky. Word had gotten out from some family members about my investment in CMKM Diamonds Inc.
One day when I walked into Fitch's IGA. The Manager there says "Hey.. It's diamondman" then asked about my stocks. There were customers in line at the time, he was on one of the cash registers. Other workers also heard and started asking questions.
After that, he called me diamondman every time that he saw me. I started becoming like the town hero. Even my Dentist had heard and was asking me about it went I went to him.. My barber knew, and you know how it is with a barber in a small town.
The manager of the IGA seemed to be as excited about it as I was.. He was saying that he saw a television program called Ice Truckers that was talking about CMKM and the diamonds that were there.. I looked through episodes of Ice Truckers and couldn't find which one he was talking about.
So I thought that maybe he heard wrong. But he said from what he saw on there, I'd probably be rich before long. Anyways, to make a long story short.. I moved from there to another town to be closer to work. But I know that in Wilmore they still talk about it..
I just wish that for once in my life, that a dream would come true.. I would love to be able to go back to Wilmore and see my friends there and tell them the good news. Or better yet put an article in their paper so everyone would know. I had already told the manager of Fitch's IGA that if I did get rich I would help him out a little. His business has been struggling and he didn't know how much longer that he could stay in business.
I've been praying hard for CMKM diamonds Inc. not just for myself, it wasn't a selfish prayer, but I've been praying for all the shareholders, that we will get what we have been promised.. And this has been promised to us on more then one occasion.. When Urban told us at the race tracks that we were going to get .54 cents per share.
He didn't put a maybe on that, or that this is a rumor. He spoke it as fact.. He made several promises and so have others. It's not too much for us to want to receive what has been promised to us over the years. There are people that could use my help, and I'm the kind of person that has the heart to help them and would feel blessed for being able to do so.
I just got married on June 23.. I would love to be able to get out of this small duplex that I am living in and into a real home. Many people take it for granted what they have. We went to St. Augustine on our honeymoon. Stayed at Island House Condo's on Crescent Beach. It was so beautiful. I didn't want to leave. All that I have been able to think about since I got back, is that there are people who are fortunate enough to live there, that take it for granted.
They've lived there all their life and the Ocean doesn't mean anything to them. Not like it does to someone that has only got to see the Ocean two times in his life. Also, I've been thinking that so many people have beautiful homes and take it for granted. They don't know what it's like to live in a tiny crowded two bedroom duplex.
Don't get me wrong. I'm happy. I'm content with whatever God gives me. But it would be a great blessing and a dream come true just to have some of the things that other people take for granted and don't appreciate at all.
I've promised God that if he does allow this to happen and I do get paid a substantial amount of money on my investment. That I will not take it for granted and forget were I came from. I will always be appreciative of what he's done for me and my blessings. I would love to be able to help the Church and evangelists and so forth.
One time an Evangelist preached a revival in a Church that I was attending when I lived in the area. He was driving a car that had over 350,000 miles, were he did so much driving from church to church. The tires were so bald you could see the steel. He had driven the car that way from Ohio to Kentucky with his wife and two children.
He was outside by the car talking to me and was joking about putting boards in the back seat floor to make sure that one of his kids didn't fall through.. He and his wife were the most pleasant and happiest people that I had ever met or talked to. God knows that if I had the money, I would have bought them a new car right then.
I like what the one poster leaves at the end of his messages. God, bless those who have righteous intent. I pray that is true for every CMKM diamonds shareholder.
