First, let me say that this post is for those that still hold true to a positive outcome for this wild adventure we're on. I count myself among those that are frustrated, tired and confused by the lack of clarity for many things. No one shareholder holds exclusive rights to those emotions, right?
Secondly, I find myself answering PM after PM with the same encouragement--get back to the 30,000 foot level. Try to keep a perspective on the whole picture, the company included, and not just focused on one issue.
As a summary, here is my take-away from Hodges;
Al remains vigilant in his optimism and encourages all of us to hold tight to the things that we know to be true, and to keep trust in the areas where we’re uncertain. We haven’t come this far to see all we’ve endured be for naught.
While timelines would help to soften the angst for all of us, as we’ve learned along the way—pinning the star on the exact day/timeline is challenging at best. Suffice to say, he encouraged me in knowing we’re closer than ever and it really is a day-by-day thing.
Now...we all know that some will shred this for their own agenda or pleasure. Have at it. There appear to be three groups of active people out there; honest shareholders who remain positive, honest shareholders who find themselves growingly frustrated and angry, and others whose apparent agenda is to cause disruption at all costs.
I find the first two are the majority on this board and agree with both. I am posting this because I have been given access to Al and I know many others aren't. I assure you, I'm no one special--just a shareholder who has earned his trust. I'm only trying to help encourage you.
There isn't a mod here that doesn't want a positive closure, or in the words of an old friend this week--a new beginning. So we thank you in advance for honoring the simple tenet of this board and be respectful in your replies and discussion.
I know this response from Al isn't the "whole enchilada" as some would like and others seem to demand. But consider he is still around, still fights on behalf of the greater good for CMKXnation and is doing so of his own volition and expense. There are days I truly wonder why would a man do that?
Hope this helps you manage your emotion somehow. Together we can temper the wait. Or shall I say, weight?
