If they can't pay us cash maybe they can give us food stamps, we may need them before long with the direction this Nation is headed in.. They are saying unemployment is over 10 percent now, soon unemployment benefits will run out. There's just to many people with their hand in the cookie jar.
Out of ten million people one million are out of work. How can the country continue like this?
They are telling us, at the Corporation that I work for, that in five years the doors will be closed.
It really doesn't make sense the way that our government does things.
Where I work, our government said that they need to reduce emissions. That they need to put a $10 million dollar scrubber system on the roof that cleans the emissions coming from our factories. They did so at the cost of $10 million dollars for each facility.
Then they were told that they needed to reduce the amount of mercury that is used in the manufacturing process.. It took our engineers several years and millions of dollars to develop a way to make the same product using less mercury. They are now in compliance with the restrictions that were put on them.
Next they were told that they could no longer use lead in one of the components that is used in the product. They worked on this and developed a way to manufacture the product lead free.
Our government didn't put any restrictions on our China competitors. They didn't have to have the scrubber systems, then didn't have to reduce mercury, or make a lead free product.
Now there is no way that our factory can compete with China in price, and China is gaining more and more of the American market. So basically they are making the product that we used to make.
Our own government is the ones that are costing us jobs.
I heard a story about a copper mining company in Colorado I believe, that employed 3,000 people. Our government gave Brazil an 100 million dollars low interest loan with payments over 100 years. So that they could buy new mining equipment. Afterwards, they were buying copper cheaper from Brazil then they could manufacture it in Colorado putting the 3,000 employee's out of work, and Brazil hasn't even paid the first payment on the loan..
What is wrong with our government? Can't they see what they are doing to us?

they are a corporation and all have swiss bank accounts! that's why a senator votes in favor of giving tax breaks to corps that move over sea's. all imho!

snce this administration has taken over the reins of this country, the uncertainties have been become the norm, with this gov. we appear to be heading into an abyss , why hasn;t the doj deported this guy soros, he has contributed nothing but chaos in our country, financing all who are putting this country on the wrong path. he has been an enemy of capitlism from day one, he does not bode well for america,while the administration continues to add to our deficit spending , there are many ways of controlling the spending , no, 1 is to cut the senators and congress people;s pay checks they havent earned the money they get imo.no.2. the loaning of billions of dollars to those nations that want the U.S. to fall and become a third world nation .its shamefull why cant the fbi and other gov. facilities see what most citizens see what is going on in america , corruption from top to bottom . i am sad to see our country falling as it is our founder;s must be turning in there graves thinking what is happening to our contry that we once revered, i can only pray that the good lord will make changes for the better through our prayers for a better america, and help correct the wrongs put on us ,.. , may god bless all americans and all who love our country and keep it prosperus and safe ,......twt
