Very well-written. Starts out with facts, and then smoothly moves into opinion and slanted facts, most people probably won't ever recognize it for what it is: A hatchet-job by someone with a personal Axe to grind. Tho I really doubt if this was written by "Anne Kilkenny", it is much too smooth for a first-time political attack on someone. I really like the bit about her bringing a "new set of 'old boys' when she was elected mayor. Doesn't she even know the definition of "old boys"? Which is a bunch of entrenched friends - unwilling to let others enter the group. If you hire new people, by definition, they can't be 'old boys' because they are not 'entrenched', they're new.
Oh, I forgot: Hillary?--Good looks? OKaaaaayyy.

Oh, I forgot: Hillary?--Good looks? OKaaaaayyy. Hi Smeagol, I agree on the hatchet job for sure. For all of us - The Media are not unbiased at all. No matter which side we're on we all better be able to sift through the deluge of opinions that are put out through various media as facts. For example. AOL did an article on weird CEO's and the first one in their grouping of ten was Patrick Byrne of Overstock.com. The author printed that he thought a crime cabal headed by a Sith Lord was out to get him. They implied he was paranoid and delusional. I commented on their blog that the context of that statement was a reference to the naked shorting of his company by a rogue group of hedge funds, bankers and market makers who were manipulating stocks by selling non-existent shares. I'm 100% convinced that the author is either incredibly naive or has direct links to the people named by Patrick as media accomplices to the crimes. I'd love to see media held accountable for what they print and say here in the US the same way they are in Britain. There's a free press, but if you make up stories and defame people, you'll lose your shirt in court when they sue you. IMO and let the reader (that's us) beware! -Debi

Well, I don't hate any of the candidates... and read about both sides... both have good points... and both have their issues... Mods feel free to delete it... but nobody has to read anything... so I don't see the problem Seagull, My comments are not an attack on you, in fact you are one of the individuals here I greatly appreciate. In the past political beliefs, or opinions have been posted, and turned ugly. I personally have a very strong political opinion. I was in Iran when Jimmy peanut was Pres., and will never forget how demoralized the individuals were during that time having a so called Commander and Chief that continuously reduced our armed forces, put us in harms way without proper support, and had no clue what it took to stand up. I well remember being in many different foreign countries, and being treated like a world outcast, and always watching over your shoulder waiting for the next American hater to take their shot because we were deemed as being weak. I also remember Ronald Reagan taking office, and being a part of an elite group that was once again proud because we had a true Leader that refused to take crap from third world terrorists. Not to mention that fact that he was able to drive down interest rates at home to record lows for our country. I won't go into all the good that came from this I'm just trying to make a point. I haven't forgotten the demoralization that reappeared having Billary in office where he proved to the world his lack of Ethics, and morals, and seemed to have as one of his greatest objectives of shutting down our military bases, and reducing our protection for our Great Nation, which in turn drove up unemployment. Every generation of my family has been a part of Standing up, and protecting this Great Nation, and it's right to remain Free, and govern itself without communism, or terrorism. I come from a family history that starts on the battlegrounds of the Civil War through the WW wars, into Vietnam, to Iran. (I tried to go to Iraq but was informed I had been out of active service to long to be allowed to return---Whizzed me off when I found this out). So you see the foundation of my personal, very strong, very opinionated, very biased political beliefs, and yet I try to refrain from posting my personal opinions here because I know there are many here with their own political opinions, and beliefs that opens the door to drive us away from each other, and I don't want to see that happen. We have a common goal, and enemy within our financial systems that has been created long before many of us even existed, and the battle is on for the good of all to finally have it corrected. I would like to see our focus remain on task without the distraction of the upcoming elections being battled out on our forum. There are a great many other forums that are specifically for this. Again seagull, I meant NO Disrespect to you, and you are in fact one of my favorite posters (really I'm not just saying that ) , and I appreciate all the info you gather, and share with the rest of us. The problem with politics is you have to vote for politicians - so what do you do? Try to find a real person - not an empty suit with 'handlers', and try to find one who can learn. Someone who can change their mind is a good choice, despite what you may read. Someone who never changes their mind/position on things has a closed mind - not a good thing in a flexible world.

Yes they all have 'handlers', but some are ONLY what their handlers tell them to be, with no 'core principles' at all. "What's popular this week? Because that's what I believe, whatever it is!"
Don't look at what 'popular' positions a candidate claims, look at what UNpopular positions they hold - those are what they really believe.
