gdh made this corrected post on the 32 board. cmkxdiamond.proboards32.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=1127664841I made a thread before with an airphoto of the Oreo site, stating on pg.2 that it had already been surveyed with TDEM before CMKX got their hands on it. I WAS WRONG. Here's a map showing the 2 drill sites M1, M2 at the Oreo (coordinates are from the 8-K in spring), the mineral dispositions (the Koch numbered company is in light yellow), and an overlay of previous aerial survey's in light blue cross-hatching. (Don't worry, DeBeers' land has been competely covered by ground survey's). The survey done overtop of the Oreo was by Rhonda Mining Corporation in August 1994, and it was airborne magnetics, NOT TDEM. (I previously reported that Uranerz had done TDEM over the area, but that is actually the diagonal area to the northeast. The coordinates in the text report were wrong.) Sorry for the bad info last week. I deleted the other post yesterday and said I wouldn't comment again until I was 100% sure. WE WERE THE FIRST TO DO TDEM OVER THE OREO - THIS IS MY FINAL ANSWER (crossed fingers). Here's the airphoto again over the Oreo, in 2004. Not much to see. [/quote]

Thanks for posting this Digby. Wow, this obviously took a lot of time and research to put together.
Great work GDH!

NIce Digby. Folks can read here about the survey types done in FALC before. I believe only 2 resistivity surveys had been done on smaller parts of FALC before cmkx's. You mentioned Uranzer's. www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1092299/000111776803000002/report.pdfAlso I believe that the UCA pr about the non-magnetic anomaly that was "the next drill target", is just around when the Oreo rumors started. Furgo did a GEOTEM resistivity survey. See second page, end of PR. www.sedar.com/GetFile.do?lang=EN&docClass=8&issuerNo=00004169&fileName=/csfsprod/data47/filings/00659963/00000001/u%3A%5Cpinechannel%5CNRjune15.pdf"The next immediate target to be drilled in which the Companies have an interest is a non-magnetic resistivity anomaly which was outlined in a survey conducted by Furgo, and which the Companies are each earning a 10% interest from CMKM Diamonds. The target is located in the main Fort a la Corne trend of 70 plus kimberlites, and was undetected in the past because of its non-magnetivity. Other kimberlites in the area have been shown to be very low to non-magnetic, but very few of these targets have ever been drill-tested." correlating cmkx pr: IMO, LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 2004--CMKM Diamonds, Inc. (Pink Sheets:CMKX - News) has received all necessary drilling permits and Surface Exploration Permits to mobilize its drilling equipment to a new site located approximately 5 miles northwest of Kensington-DeBeers Kimberlite 122 and 6 1/2 miles northwest of Shore Gold Inc.'s Star Diamond Project in the Forte a La Corne, Saskatchewan. The drill site partnership includes Shane Resources (SEI.H-)CDNX, United Carina Resources Corp. (UCA.)CDNX, Consolidated Pine Channel Gold Corp. (KPG) CDNX, and U.S. Canadian Minerals, Inc. (OTCBB:UCAD - News). UCA PR ends with "The Companies will be participating in an aggressive diamond exploration program in the Fort a la Corne area of Saskatchewan well into the foreseeable future." Cheers!!

For those of us who are not Geologists, could you put some kind of outline around the Oreo in that picture, or is the whole thing the oreo.
Thanks Srinze

For those of us who are not Geologists, could you put some kind of outline around the Oreo in that picture, or is the whole thing the oreo. Thanks Srinze Since we don't have more informtion regarding the drilling/survey results, my best bet would be to draw a circle that includes the two drill sites at opposite sides. Should be fairly accurate.
