spybot, if that doesn't work, let me know. www.safer-networking.org/en/download/After you run it, ensure you have a firewall with as much locked down as possible and run spybot weekly, being sure to update the definitions and descriptions each week before running it.

I use a combination of tools:
-) AVG anti virus -) AVG anti spyware -) Ad-Aware -) Spybot - Search & Destroy
Make sure to update and run them at least once a week.
I also use a separate hardware router that uses NAT to block incoming stuff.
In addition to running tools one must also make sure to be up-to-date with service packs of the OS. There is little use in securing the front door while leaving the back door wide open, is there.

BPS spyware and adware remover is the best... IMO.. The first time I ran it, it found nearly two hundred things that my other spyware hadn't caught.. My computer runs good as long as my computer is keep free from that stuff. I believe it is a trial version that you download though..

Thanks for the suggestions everyone, another thing for the PC literate- When I go into add/remove programs, it tells me. "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer. Contact system administrator."
Can I go in and remove the name that is in there under administrator?
TIA,

You will need to be logged in as administrator. If you are on your home computer, you can re-log in as administrator and give yourself administrator privileges so you don't have to bother with that in the future.
