We found a house that has great potential for our family. We want to go check it out and get out of our present town. This place is everything that we have all ever wanted and then some, but if we don't get any money we can't buy the house/property. This state of limbo is tough. It is time for information so we can move on.
So an answer to your question is yes, I have been packing and getting rid of things that we no longer need (my husband can't wait to help me pack too). I can't believe how much we have collected since our last move four years ago. This time we're having someone move it for us!!!
Hey Golden we're heading up your way!!

I stayed home today... Yesterday at work they thought I had pink eye... [actually it was allergies from yard work the day before] ... so I thought I may as well take the day off so it wouldn't spread sure is nice to be home... I am so excited about the money coming this month... I am getting ready to take off for a state-tax-free state before the taxed money hits... 15% is far better than 22% ... 7% is a lot of money now days ;D Already have a primary residence in a state-tax-free state. No income tax is wonderful...but the 9.25% sales tax is a killer! Great place to be if you don't plan on buying anything. I was never one to buy much online...but if I can get free shipping, I buy it online now if it comes from a company not doing business in this state...saving me the tax and the S/H. Pick your state wisely! pr

Not looking until the money is in my bank account. Two years ago I had my heart set on this one house. It was perfect. I prayed and prayed for cmkx to hit so that I could by this house. I truly believed in my heart that this house was going to be mine. For nine months I prayed for it and it sold. My heart was broken. I spent months picturing my family in it. I couldn't believe it. That was my house and it was gone just like that. So this time I wont even look until it happens.

It is a six hour drive from here, and we don't want to get there and not be able to buy it. We want to get the property next to this too. We plan, in time, to build a dream log cabin in the middle of the pines. If the house sells to someone else than we weren't meant to have it and something bigger and better will have our name on it. We will still move up there -- somewhere. I have done all the research of the areas and the school systems, well, everything as if we were moving now. Even our kids want out of here. Our town here served its purpose for the past four years, but now we want something we have always dreamed of -- a house on a private lake. clearcut

Clearcut... that sounds better than Tahoe I do want to live where there is an airport that is not too large... easy parking, etc... seagull, There is actually a small airport close by, with a "real" one less than 30 miles away. Can't tell you where it is; you may snatch it from us. Just kidding! This place is much better than Tahoe in our eyes, too many people there. We are finding it harder and harder to keep level headed since we are now in October -- the "month" of money -- so we hear. It takes my husband all he's got to turn on his alarm clock for work. He wants to retire so bad, before his 50th birthday (April). I can't retire until my kids are out of the house, well, maybe semi-retire as they get older. I am a stay at home mom and homemaker, and the money would make it easier to say the least. clearcut

Now this is fun. I picked out my house. Lucky for me it is not built yet so I will have to find somewhere to put it and someone to build it, but the floor plan looks really nice.

Let's not count our chickens before the hen even meets the rooster........ Not doing anything concrete until we know exactly what is happening--I (we) are making plans and plans only. I would not jeopardize my families financial stability by acting out before we knew what this stock future holds for us. I can at least admit that through all the dreaming and thinking, we now know what we want in life, where we will be the most happy and secure and it is not this town. If nothing comes out of this for a while, we will try and find the "attraction" that brought us here in the first place, but I will never stop striving for our dreams. clearcut

We aren't packing yet but I do spend time every week looking over the houses listed on a local MLS website. I had one I thought I really liked but it sold. I am just waiting for the day I can call our realtor and say - "here is a list of houses I want to see this week" HT

If the house we found sold than we will just keep looking. We now know what we are striving for and can weed out the ones that don't meet our needs. It really doesn't have to be to huge, just comfortable and lots of storage. We do want to be near water though. Our sons are at the age to really get into outdoor activities and just be kids. We really want them to be raised like we were; my parents and my husband's parents did a wonderful job with us IMO.
I guess I should think about getting information on log cabins. We were in Indiana at a restaurant that overlooked the water; we were so enthralled with the design that we will try to duplicate it.

A late Friday night PR is essential. Less distruptive to the work places throughout the US and Canada. IMO of course. Bring it on tonight. Then tomorrow we will be making our new life a reality. Been dreaming of a log home with a wrap-around porch built somewhere where it is warm all year.

Been dreaming of a log home with a wrap-around porch built somewhere where it is warm all year. I have been researching log homes. We want big and a single story, but hard to find this way. I guess we will have to design it ourselves. We know where we want to be; just need cash to start the process. CMKX please bring on the lifestyle we want! clearcut

What money?? well....... for those who missed it... ;D Mano said: Two near term PR's coming. Peter thinks we may get the first one today, Tuesday.
(Sounds like three payments coming.)
1) By Oct 15th: An interest payment of 15 cents with no tax.
2) By third week in October: A payment of $1.51 with no tax.
3) By fourth week in October: We get a letter to sign leading to a payment of $3.50 that will arrive maybe a couple of weeks later. This payment is to be distributed by task force and is taxable at 15%.
(-Posted by Ron2w) ____________________________________________________________________ Then Tiger paw said: tigerpaw gives recap of belgian update. for those iinterested...
pr hopefully today.
we get 0.15 per share any time between today to the 13th..tax free.
the following week or by 4th week of october, we get the 1.51...also tax free.
3d week or by end of the month we get a letter from task force...we sign letter to get the 3.50 (taxed at 15%)
hopefully happens before elections.
3.50 comes take a little bit longer... how task force will dispense it to us...not sure...maybe through a check.
Then he said....... tigerpaw still believes and just mentioned in paltalk a few minutes ago that what they are still hearing is money, 0.15 and 1.51 will be placed into our brokerage accounts. was explained that money in the brokerage account will be "untouchable" by the broker...
hearing that entourage shares will not be given, most likely, we will receive money...might be a $1 or $1.75 per share...not sure -posted by Pistos on Tramp's board______________________________________________ Todays's most recent rumors
