Two of my hunting buddies were involved in the Amish School shooting. Please consider all of these folks tonight. 1. The little girls that are still hanging on to life. 2. To their families for their loss, for the way that their simple lives have now changed. 3. To the family of the perp 4. to my buddy M that was on the scene and will never forget the scene that he had to deal with and the rest of the police officers 5. to my other buddy M that was in the ER when the kids came in and all of the staff that had to witness and deal with the carnage 6. for all of the folks out there in this world that are ready to crack, please send some divine intervention to help them deal appropriately with issues and/or mental illness. 7. for all of us that might see someone struggle and not know why..to give us the strength and courage to deal with it all and not play it off. my heart hurts so bad right now. I can not believe the impact this act has taken on so many.

Definitely Bygsky, It is impossible to handle this kind of atrocity happening to anyone at anytime. To have it happen to the peace loving Amish community is beyond any sane person's imaginings. I have prayed for them and I will again.

Wow, that brought a tear to my eye. It really put it all into perspective. It's bad enough without the personal touch. Many lives were irrevocably broken in that little schoolhouse. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the families, the first responders and hospital staff, etc. Thanks for sharing.

Here in Texas, my heart aches for all involved. I have no personal connection except that we are all God's creation and have a God given connection to our brothers and sisters all over the world.
I can't imagine what the perpetrator's family must be going through to have to live with this dreadful act for the rest of their lives. I don't understand what would drive someone to do this terrible thing, but I do know that God, in His infinite love, will comfort all those that mourn.
As I have stated earlier, for this to happen on Yom Kippur, the "Day of Repentance and Atonement" makes it more poignant.
In our little part of the world here near Lake Texoma, a little 5 year old girl was marching in a Founder's Day parade on Saturday and somehow fell under a float trailer and was killed. She was a little dancer and full of life and fun and yet her life ended in a brief moment.
Thanks bygsky for sharing and putting in to words how we can direct our prayers.
Always praying,
Linda
