Aaron Russo, producer of the documentary film, America from Freedom to Fascism, passed away on August 24, 2007, after a long bout with cancer. He was a man of great principle, a fabulous human being, and a bright beacon for liberty. We will miss him profoundly.

Aaron Russo was quite ill. I remember him talking about his illness during an interview at one point and after that, watching his deterioration as he fought his last battles with life, while at the same time valiantly trying to do something, anything he could to save what he (and I) believed are the last gasps of our beloved republic.
He was a good man who gave a schit.
He will be missed.
