www.togientertainment.com/nakedtruth.phpAs we all know, Bill Frizzell and John Martin started The Owners Group, Inc., based on their experience with CMKM Diamonds, Inc. Now, they have branched off into the entertainment industry, forming TOGI Entertainment, which has recently purchased CFRN... I haven't seen this discussed on the boards, so I wanted to raise the question - - - Does anyone else find this odd? Or is it just my suspicious mind working overtime..? Also, the interview with Mr. Maheu (on CFRN), which was canceled at the last minute has me intrigued, considering his connection with CMKM Diamonds, Inc., Bill Frizzell, The Owners Group, etc... Anyone...?

I think it is your mind working over time. The way I see it... The opportunity to do a book was natural, given the amount of inside information they had access to working on behalf of the shareholders. Setting up an LLC to handle this separately keeps the tax liabilities away from their day-jobs and gives them means for "channelling" other opportunities into the right company. Along comes the opportunity to buy the internet radio program and the obvious fit is to put it in the entertainment company. Given its audience and the parity they have with the new owners values...the purchase may have been driven by personal want more than anything else. Would be interesting to know, but not a hill to die on. As for Mahue cancelling. The reason given may very well be the reason. Happens all the time in radio, so no suprises there. If you want to take a run down "what if" lane, then you could speculate that the interview was a message to those not yet at the bargaining table--the fact that it was cancelled could be strategic or coincidental. Depending on your mood, take your pick! pr
