The rumors of Kevin being CEO were circulated before the 2 week "intended" period were up, why couldn't they(Urban) hit the time frame? That disappoints me. Maybe they were waiting for GEMM to start trading again. 8-)Warp

I don't like this part of the PR either. IMO, if nothing major happens before November, we are looking at the end of January 2007 before we hear anything of monetary rewards for the shareholders. That line sure makes me think we have a bit of a wait yet. I sure hope I'm wrong. Remember to keep repeating Glenn, Maheu, DTCC chill Glenn, Maheu, DTCC chill.......

Agreed from what I know of him and the exchanges we've had - he definitely is on the side of right. Kevin would take no part in anything that would hurt us. We are winning, period.

Rob: You need to get over it - and enjoy the moment, imo. The company put out that previous PR under duress (the villagers were getting ready to storm the castle). They did whatever BUSINESS was necessary in order to make it official and made the announcement. Why sweat the small stuff? Most of us have been waiting 2-3 years and some for much longer. Why be disappointed about an extra week? Regards, Ed The rumors of Kevin being CEO were circulated before the 2 week "intended" period were up, why couldn't they(Urban) hit the time frame? That disappoints me.

"I would like to welcome Mr. West as an Interim Officer of the Company," stated a Director and Chairman of the Board, Urban Casavant. and who are the other directors ? best, mike @swordfish168@ Yup, sounds to me like there are other "directors" I wish they hadn't said a shareholder of the company was now taking over the job of CEO. Makes it look like they got him off the street. Now the PPS is sure to go down.

Re: Kevin West
FWIW, I had several email exchanges with Kevin when he was posting on Sterling’s Board a lifetime or two ago. That he is a “good guy” IMO, is unquestioned. The exchange began over our disagreement over “religion” but eventually segued into a discussion on how best to advance the shareholder cause. This is a man with “old fashioned values” in the best sense and a passion for simply doing the right thing. If the CMKX powers that be selected him above all others, I would think the future continues to bode well. The rub of course is just how far in the future the future will be. As far as being patient, I’ve found copious quantities of Hennessey to be of significant assistance.

The details before us are going to require a bit of time and complete focus to make sure that they are done correctly," stated Mr. West.

I had many conversations with him about my 401K Schwab account, we never fully disolved that issue. I'd rather have someone in here at this point that does know all the ins and outs of this cert pull over someone that just stepped in.

Viable= Likely to live from life. Capable of sustaining independent life.... Equity= the giving or disposition to give to each man his due; justice.....more strictly, a system of supplemental law founded upon defined rules, recorded precedents, and established principles, the judges, however, liberally expounding and developing these to meet new exigencies. Exigencies= to drive out or forth, to demand, to exact....Urgent demand.... Might help to see these definitions! May God Bless!!!!

If you were trying to be funny, use the smileys. If you are questioning his quals, then DD and report back to the board your findings but don't bash someone. Not man. Not judging you but you have 56 posts and come up with a comment like that? Maybe you don't want to stay around long. If we were able to give Karma...you would be smited to death IMO.

Funny that there's no mention about the interplead or bona fide shareholders in this pr with that being what the new CEO is handling. Hmmmmmmm. Must be "sumtin" else he's got to get done.
