First let me say Thank You for letting me join this board. I have had a question about what a true long is, but didn't have the nerve to post before now. I see people throwing ( true long in till the end ) around on all the boards. What is considered a true long? Is it someone who has been in for a long time, but plans on selling all shares as soon as pps goes up, or is it some one who has been in 2 yrs to 1 wk, but intends on holding at least some of there shares for years after pps goes up? I myself have owned shares for a year ( all shares reach a year on 10/6/05 ). My plan is to sell some of my shares when the pps starts going up. I will hold at least 1/4 of my shares for the rest of my life. I truly intend on making this a heritage stock. I guess my question is this: Am I a long because I have held shares for more than six months, or because I intend on holding on to some of my shares? Thanks Cindy

I've been holding since the first CIM divy. Can't wait for something to break loose here soon.
A true long as I see it, is someone who holds NOT to make a quick buck but rather to take profits over a period of time.
Best of luck to us all, egg

Among you huge holders, I must seem very poor. I hold but 4,000,000 shares. All I could scrape together I put into our stock.
But, as Tramp said, he'll be filthy rich with his 8+ millions. My meager 4 million will serve me very, very well. My financial "wealth" aside, I'm doing much better now than when I first got into this stock more than 1 1/2 years ago.
I've been enormously enriched (this past year and a half) meeting many of you on the boards (32, RB, Mach and now thankfully, here). I been offered more knowledge and assistance than I could have hoped to have found by my own research.
I have been sustained through illness, my own and others of my family and friendships. When things became especially difficult, it was you, the members of this board who offered sympathy and support. When death struck, as it has twice now since I've bought in - and will again very soon with another family member, I have been offered renewed hope in PM's from several members. (THANKS TRAMP!)
Most everyone gifts me everyday with knowledge and humor, with expressions of heartfelt love and heartfelt caring for one another, with patience and forbearence for my (and others) slow learning abilities and stumbling steps.
So, I may be short in the amount of shares I own. I may end up having to sell more of them earlier than most of you to sustain myself financially and to unburden the debt that must be put to rest. I will probably be holding long term fewer shares than most of you, but:
I'm a long, by any definition I can think of. But most expecially, LONG IN FRIENDS made from my investment in this stock.
Thank you all.

I believe a true long is someone who has done enough dd on a stock and buys it as an investment for long term. I myself will use part of my stock for trading on up and down swings taking some profits and then getting back in at a lower price. No stock goes up forever, there will be corrections, and leave the rest alone to reap any and all future benefits.

These "long" examples given are one. Another is if you're not SHORT. I've never shorted a stock, but I hear sometimes they also take a smaller long position to "hedge" their "bet". So, to me, a true long would be someone who has only BOUGHT this stock hoping for only a higher price.

Great responses on what is a true long.... I consider myself a true long. I've owned the stock for over a year. I have listened to pumpers and bashers of every type. I have done my dd, plus listened to all the great posters that have done a lot more dd than I have. I guess what I'm trying to say is I believe in this company and have not wavered a bit or sold any shares as a result of all the negative and bashings etc. I have a plan in place to sell a few shares on the way up but plan on keeping over 50 million shares for the long haul. Until it's worth so much that I would be a fool not to sell. I would invest it in ways where my family and their future families should never have to worry about living a very very comfortable life. I have 31 million in two Roth Ira's which can be cashed in ,in five years without paying taxes. S So I'll see where we are in five years and go from there. PATIENCE=PROFIT IMHO Craig
