Actually you know what.... yes the exchange will cover most of the capital gains... I think I only have 5 mil that is cleared over a year.. rest I need to wait till April next year...... Nah... I think it applies to Canada as well.. like when you build a new house, you have to live in it for a year before you can sell for 15% gains tax otherwise I beleive it is 40 or 50%.... ...i was told that the 1 year capital gains thing is for the US only.....

If taxes are your biggest problem......I'd say you have no problem.
More "food for thought" ..... Is the broker you have now going to charge more for "sells" on the higher $ value? Are you with the "right" broker for that liquidation?
Not to mention Canadians who pulled certs....where will you take them?
I'm just getting everyone thinking about "how you will get 'there' when it all starts.

Isn't my broker or any broker going to take them back?? Why not?

Killahcain, are you TDW? They among others stated they will not take back certs for CMKX once pulled. I was always of the opinion that once the shares held significant value, every broker including TDW would be crawling over themselves for the commi$$ion - now, I'm not so sure.
And woopwoop - TDW, 1M sell over $2.01 is $30,000 - less than $2.00 is $15,000 comm. ( If they'll allow web-broker transaction, if no - a more complicated schedule )

Compared to most of the shareolders, I've got very few shares... Only 4.5 millions...
I believe in CMKX and that's why I choose those exit points...
10% at 0.10 (Hey! It's 45,000$!)
25% at .25 (Hey It's almost 280,000!!)
50% at 1$ (Hey, it's a load of money!)
and the rest to satisfy Tramp at 40$ (Hey who said that a guy couldn't satisfy another man?)
;D
If everything goes in CIM and nothing happens to our CMKX shares (which I doubt) I will keep my 28,000 shares as long as I can... Depending of the IPO...

OK, so the next scenario I'll present. jarihai or precision or GTA or peter: You've got your points set up. Are you going to call them in as GTC orders? Or are you going to play "the ticker game" ? Aha ! Got you all thinking now don't I........... Mike oh, and btw - this is also helping me gauge how you are feeling about ultimate pps. Hi Mike>>>>>>>>>>>> LOL............No Mike I thought about that problem the 'ticker' vs. GTC when I set the exit points. Sooooo no 'gotcha'. I will ticker these 'suckers' all the way, unless I need to be away from the 'puter and I see CMKX running then I would GTC an amount to 'cover ' that days trading. However all my figure for exit points are on a spread sheet and it truly did take me several weeks to 'play' with the figures until I felt I had it 'right' for me. All my exit points will have me selling a total of about 50 million shares when it is all 'said and done'. ;D I will, based on my figures (and ....LOL........assuming these PPS points will be reached, will see this poverty stricken Senior) end up filthy rich. That has a nice ring to it imo.

Aha ! Got you all thinking now don't I........... Mike oh, and btw - this is also helping me gauge how you are feeling about ultimate pps. No GTC for me , I'll wait and see . If it climbs slowly I'll sell my 10% at------- , but obviouly if it's TO DSA MOON , then I might sell my first batch a little higher ! With all the jerking back and forth ,through all the crap that was dug up , high share count , dilution etc. We'll just have to wait and see what is real and what is fiction ! A lot will have to do with what the final share count is and what shorty has to cover ! That along with WHAT WE DO ACTUALLY have in the ground! I couldn't even guess ! Pete Just read peterg2000 response. Agree with what peterg2000 sez also.

I do not have any set points. I have thought that CMKX would not move until Shorty has to buy back shares. Then we need to know how many shares are out and what we have to know a reasonable PPS.
I will sell my first millions at a reasonable price-what they are worth. The other millions will have a premium attached for pain and suffering.
Because many won't sell cheap a settlement makes sense. So I can see that happening. If we trade I will sell small amounts on the way up over a three day period knowing that each up tick is a significant amount of money made. I don't expect this to rise and tank like the typical penny so I won't be panic selling/rushing the exit or in any kind of hurry.
The longer you can wait to sell your first million the better it will be for recovering your investment capital plus profit.
I have a kazillion shares and hope to wait for pennies before I sell my first. It will be difficult but I have a lot of certificates and electronic shares in 4 accounts and that will help since seeing the grand total in one fell swoop would make not selling difficult.
We will most probably only have one chance in our lifetimes to sell this number of shares in a winning company. I don't want to blow it being hasty or being short sighted.

Thanks to all for some interesting insight. There are some PRIMO ideas that everyone should consider. Anyone else?
