One can see the retention, addition, and lapse of different zinc claims as a sign that the company is actively engaged in this area.
Some have tried to refer to any lapse as a negative event. Even to refer to "the claim" as singular, and "gone". Ofcourse they are in the wrong.
I think the company may be finding even better claims. Newest claims were added mid-summer.
The following PetroPlus PR text gives support that there may be more valuable deposits along that strike than originally detected.

Excerpt from 1997 PetroPlus PR about that area
"The 100 percent owned, George Lake Property was investigated by Falconbridge Limited between 1966-70 and covers a 8.0 kilometres long mineralized horizon, on which detailed drilling outlined a zinc-lead deposit along 800 metres of the horizon. The deposit has drill-indicated reserves in the order of 13 million tons grading 2.76 percent zinc and 0.36 percent lead (based on a 1 percent Zn cut off), including a higher grade core of 7 million tons grading 3.86 percent zinc and 0.49 percent lead (based on a 2 percent zinc cut off) to a depth of 180m. (Coombe, Base Metals in Saskatchewan, Sask Geol Survey Open File 91-1).
The mineralized horizon is estimated to contain about 200,000,000 tons grading around 1.0 percent zinc. "Only 10 percent of the strike length of the mineralized horizon has been investigated in any detail. Higher grade "pods", similar to the George Lake deposit, could have been missed."
