Well I logged back in and it says waiting for host to join. But on another board someone posted it's been punted to the next Town Hall on Sept 30. I don't know if that is true.  He probably didn't say 10 sentences. "We are still working on finishing up, he hopes to be able to tell us, everything is turned into the courts, by Sept. 30th" Pretty much all he said. From Holein1Par4 on Unofficial board. many shareholders have just found out about the restitution process Tony Lopez said which need to be processed and everything should be done by September. next town hall meeting will be held on September 30th where he will announce that everything has been completed and has been turned over to the restitution department. and that will complete it for the DOJ Nevada and we are in the hands of the restitution department. |

New to the board... (or just re-registered) I stopped closely following CMKX about 10 years ago when hurricane Sandy destroyed my home. I also lost interest when Al Hodges passed away. One of the boards that I closely followed also shut down. Im just checking in to see if there is ANY hope in getting a settlement? Also, did another attorney "pick up the ball" after Mr. Hodges' passing? I see several familiar avatar names, although not as many as there use to be. I've also read most of this thread, but quite frankly, I don't understand alot of it. If anyone could post a few sentences of where we stand, (Cliff Notes?) I would greatly appreciate it! I'm still holding certs for 27 million shares. It still hurts when I think of the "investment" that seems lost. Thanks again! Hope everyone is doing well!

Bob G It's all in the Buzzz that we can discuss about the other ....besides the DOJ settlement DOJ will have a Town Hall for us as stated in the Buzzz on September 30. We hope they get to the point of releasing that first small payment that we were often told would release our trusts if indeed we have them. Bottom line many of us still believe yesterday yes thetr still hope. |

I'm glad there is still "Hope"! Other than being registered (and having certs) with Thransfer On Line, is there anything else one needs to do to be considered "Bonafide"?? Thanks again!! I'll be paying a bit more attention now!

Dad are we there yet? So CMK Diamonds is coming up in the AMC APE theater as an example how criminal naked / synthetic shorting can carry on in-justice for years. Where is our dollar for each fake share? Still in Alaska. Still have mortgages would be nice to pay off. I have rental cabins that would be a good after party site for those wanting to visit Alaska the last frontier. My former staff is on season 9 of the Canada survival show Alone.

Wrote this to Jed on the Investors Village DIAM board: Jed, so you won't waste your day. I just spoke with Veronica Cresse from DOJ and she told me Oct 30 now. She said 'it takes a lot of coordination' when I quizzed her about the out of date website. Imagine the Herculean effort required to change one line on a website that holds the interest of tens of thousands. Interesting Oct 30 is the anniversary date of the Vegas shareholder party |

Sorry You should probably register then with TOL ( Transfer Online) At least call them ... but I would try registering them first.. Search transfer online... website & phone numbers are there Since there is another Town Hall by the DOJ on the 30th....and we have heard among all the other many things that this might be the trigger for them to release whatever small amount so our trusts (if they exist) can be released to us. Also... we should be getting RICO from the government since the SEC & DTCC didn't stop the shorting. Even if they refuse or deny....we should still get money from the trusts. We, also, heard that the government borrowed our money to bale out the banks in 2008.... & need the IDQ (Iraqi dinar) to RV since they bought a huge amount of dinar. Oh... when you register with TOL, you may see that your certs are all listed. If so... be sure your contact info is correct. Who knows what is true or will happen....but why else would they drag this out & keep us dangling all these years?? Bottom line.... get your certs registered on TOL if they are not. |

The DOJ has been doing their TH’s on Fridays. The 28th is Friday. It will be 17 years since revocation that day. Notice this post was from September 30 So no word of a new update yet |

I did make another call, just now, spoke with Veronica, we are waiting on the court. She asked me to keep an eye on the website, as soon as they have anything from the court, they will post it, or at least schedule for a Webex meeting. More was said, but that was gist of our conversation. |

My reply to Jed on the DIAM board: Uncle Jed to me: "oldepro, any update on that (Sunday) October 30th Town Hall date? Seems just a little unlikely!" My reply "Actually I called Veronica Criste today. I emailed 2 days ago with no response. I wrote her back and told her not responding tarnished the badge. So when I called today she started lecturing me on being patient. Well, I lost it and went ballistic. And then I asked her what are we waiting for, all the defendants are either dead or unfindable (Nickolaj Vissokovsky). She said we are waiting on the court to complete the victim's list. Again, ballistic. I asked who is the judge. She said she wouldn't tell me who it is. She told me she did not want to encourage me, judges just don't talk to anyone. Ballistic stage 3. Blastoff. I told her she might be surprised who I have talked to and judges do talk to people. I said at the very LEAST you can update the website. I said when we spoke in September you said there would be a townhall meeting in October. Now that is not happening and website still says August 4. In September, she told me it's too complicated to update. Today I told her a 6th grader with beginning computer skills could do it in 10 minutes. Then I finished by lecturing her how badly shareholders have been treated for longer than anyone could possibly believe. She started apologising and I said can it. I've heard it all before. I said I understand she is the messenger, but enough is enough. I told her to pat her lil doggie on the head and give him a treat. She replied I have four. I said then give em the whole box. She laughed and we parted amicably. My opinion is Newmont is satisfied to wait in the wings until summoned. Hey shorty, here come da judge, here come da judge. And when he/she comes the party's over, the Water wall will break and we will ride the floodwaters to the Promised Land. Can I get an Amen???" |

U.S. District Court - Las Vegas, NV
Please be aware that the criminal prosecution in the District of Nevada (United States v. John Edwards, et al., 2:09-CR-00132-RLH-RJJ) is separate from and unrelated to a civil suit in the Central District of California that has now been dismissed (David Anderson, et al., v. Christopher Cox, et al., 8:10-CV-00031-JVS-MLG). In Anderson, the plaintiffs alleged that the SEC and other agencies of the U.S. Government conducted a sting operation against "illegitimate brokers, dealers, market makers, hedge funds, and other persons and entities that had engaged in naked short selling of CMKM Diamonds Inc. Stock." Essentially, the Anderson case involved allegations against an entire industry.
In contrast, the superseding criminal indictment in the Edwards case charged a more clearly defined group of defendants: specific insiders who engaged in fraud through shell companies. Specifically, between approximately May 1997 and April 2008, the defendants used various shell companies – including Pinnacle Business Management, Inc. (May 1997 to December 2003); CMKM Diamonds, Inc. (November 2002 to October 2005); St. George Metals, Inc. (July 2004 to July 2005); and Global Diamond Exchange, Inc. (November 2005 to April 2008) – to defraud purchasers of stock in those companies. The defendants secretly authorized increases in the number of available shares and falsely represented or hid the true number of shares from investors. At the same time, the conspirators issued billions of shares to themselves through affiliates. By falsely claiming that these shares had not been issued to company affiliates, the conspirators were able to sell these shares without restrictions imposed by law. By issuing false and misleading press releases regarding the companies’ business activities, the defendants were able to drive up demand for the companies’ stock while selling their shares at a profit.

On March 24, 2010, the grand jury returned a sealed Second Superseding Indictment which added the following defendants: Jeffrey Turino, Nickolaj Vissokovsky and Jeffrey Mitchell. In addition, several new charges were added, alleging that certain defendants engaged in a conspiracy to conduct an enterprise engaged in a pattern of racketeering activity, a conspiracy to sell unregistered securities and to commit securities fraud and a conspiracy to commit money laundering. On May 6, 2010, the Second Superseding Indictment was unsealed.

The superseding indictment in United States v. Edwards, et al., alleges as follows: the defendants combined and conspired to perpetrate a fraud involving the issuance and sale of CMKM stock over a period of several years. Hundreds of billions of shares of CMKM stock were sold to thousands of investors during that span. Investors in CMKM are invited (but not required) to complete the following questionnaire. The questionnaire solicits information pertaining to this case for purposes of enabling prosecutors to confer with and receive information and opinions from victims of the CMKM scheme.
