Entourage Mining Drill Permits Issued
Monday June 20, 4:30 am ET
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 20, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Entourage Mining (OTC BB:ETGMF.OB - News) reports that it has received from the Bureau of Land Management (the ``BLM''), drill permits for its Black Warrior gold/silver project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. In May 2005, the Company posted an $11,400 reclamation bond with the BLM and the bond has now been approved and the permit issued. The Company is now awaiting a drill quote from a Nevada based drilling company.
Once the drilling contract is received, Entourage will commence drilling 21 drill targets and complete 4 trenches on the property situated at Silver Peak. The drill targets were identified by a Controlled Source Magneto-Telluric (CSMT) survey completed by Zonge Geosciences and interpreted by Frank Fritz of Fritz Geophysics. In his report to Entourage, Mr. Fritz concluded: ``The CSMT survey appears to have defined a complex faulted range front block of sediments that ends abruptly into a deep and unusual alluvial filled basin to the north-east.''
Mr. Fritz identified two main target areas on the property and described these targets as follows: ``The two target areas are both included in an interpreted north north-easterly horst block. It is recommended that they be tested with two fences of drill holes roughly along CSMT Line 5'' and ``(t)he drill holes should be angled north-east to test the expected west dipping detachment structures and angled south-west to test the possible range front fault associated hot spring system.'' Mr. James Turner, P. Geo., and a ``qualified person'' as that term is defined in National Instrument 43-101, has worked with Mr. Fritz in identifying the location of the drill holes.
In other news, the Company has been informed by United Carina Resources, that a compilation of previous work done on the Hatchet Lake Uranium properties, situated on the eastern edge of the Athabaska Basin in north-central Saskatchewan, is now complete. It is anticipated that summer fieldwork on the property will begin within two weeks and will consist of an examination of outcrop and boulder trains. As well, discussions have been held with a neighboring property owner to jointly fly an airborne radiometric survey of the property. Entourage has an option to earn a 20% interest in the Hatchet Lake property. The world's richest uranium deposit is located on the eastern side of the Athabaska Basin.
Furthermore, the Company has been informed by Fayz Yacoub, P. Geo., and a ``qualified person'', that discussions are underway with Starfire Minerals to jointly fly an airborne radiometric survey on the two company's contiguous uranium properties situated in Costebelle Township, Quebec. Entourage has an option to earn a 100% interest in the 2473-hectare Doran Uranium property where previously three drill holes indicated uranium showings of up to 9.6 lbs. of uranium per ton.
