True, but one must realize those people having the 'illegal' status basically come from a economically disadvantaged position and the amount of moneys required to become legal are great in comparison to the wages they earn.
Don't misunderstand, the problem is indeed a problem. All I am trying to do here is to give a more rounded view of the 'facts'. I am not taking a public position with this post.

I agree..it is a real problem.. but this Bob dude needs to count his blessings..lol I bet if he really was honest with himself.. he wouldn't switch places to save a few bucks on his taxes. I think he just got a little too "cute" in trying to make his point

Bob, I would suggest a little more research is needed on your part to see what economic impact these "illegal" workers have in these States. When you do so, you may be somewhat surprised. Also, if you take a minute longer then you are 'legally' allowed to at the coffee machine at the place you work - should you be 'deported' (or fired) from that company? Emotion is high on this topic throughout the U.S. and unfortunately most people do not take the time to dig for the facts before taking the simplified position of "illegal".
