Actually, I was thinking of carrying a fake wallet myself! Good Idea! I actually got surprised by a couple of teenage punks, who snuck up behind me while I was sitting on a picnic table watching the sunset with a coffee at the Phoenix Zoo back in 97'. I only had $5 cash in my wallet, but they got all my ID, etc. at the time. Ever tried to replace your ID in another country? Luckily I had my old Ontario Driver's License which had my photo on it to get me by, till I got back to Canada the following yr. I actually changed my name a couple yrs. after this happened, just in case! John Good

Thats something I have done for several years. Its pretty hard to dance with a purse hanging over your shoulder. I have a small wallet like that easily fits a small comb, lipstick, etc. that has a small hook that attaches to my levis belt loop. I never have to worry about setting anything down and leaving it. Now leaving my drink is another thing!

Also, don't leave valuables on your front seat while pumping gas at gas stations, especially during nice weather when car windows are down.
I've seen kids on bikes cruise through gas stations and grab things while the driver is pumping gas.

I use a business card holder for my Driver's License, credit & ins. cards, etc. instead of a wallet. It fits perfectly in a pocket.

I always take a fake wife with me. When I go out... I take a purse that only has the basics in it... brush, a few $$$, etc.. My driver's license is in my pocket along with a larger bill. My real one with all the important suff it locked safely in my car trunk... and even that should not have more than one credit card in it....... and now days... no check book either. yea I know the car can be stolen but not as likely as someone grabbing your purse... This way I can leave it when I go to the dance floor or to the bathroom to mark my place. Funny thing is ... no one has ever taken one of my 'fake' purses.
