This part is worth exploring:
Company thanked it's loyal and patient shareholders "for enduring this extremely long quiet period that has had to take place in order for our Company to comply with regulatory issues and make plans for the company to continue moving forward,"
Last time I checked, CMKX was revoked and considered a private company in good standing with the State of Nevada, where it is registered. The only "regulatory issues" I can think of would be in relation to the Securities and Exchange Commission - for which CMKX has no obligation to satisfy or comply with, or.....? Hmmmmm?
**********
Why did the quiet period have to take place, as asserted in the PR? Why the need to comply with SEC regulations now?

If you consider how much trouble UC is in, the additional trouble he'd get into for a little lie like that (that the quiet period "had" to take place) would have to be insignificant. Therefore, there's no doubt in my mind that wording was thrown in just to keep the believers believing, and for no other reason whatsoever.

you honestly think that BD? I can't see why UC would go through all this trouble and all this time with lawyers, stall tactics, silence, etc.....in order to save his arce....only to issue a PR at this time that could potentially make his situation worse. I would think he would continue to sit tight and keep his trap shut. Let the rumor mills and message boards do his ground work.

Conman, you are now a first-person witness to what has happened to several people here. They are so embittered that they cannot believe that Urban hasn't screwed them, if you'll excuse the double negative. They have invested so much time and energy in this belief system that to turn back now is too difficult, too rough on the pride.
One thing that I think BD's reponse reveals is a basic misunderstanding of exactly *who* Urban should be afraid of if he has done wrong. I've said this before in the "Let's sue Urban" thread, but I guess nobody was listening. Nobody on this board can bring criminal charges against Urban for his alleged fraud and malfeasance. As an analogy, if someone burns down your house, you, the homeowner don't bring criminal arson charges against the perpetrator. The local police department and prosecutors do. You may then sue the perpetrator in a civil lawsuit to recoupe damages.
So, in our case, the SEC would bring the charges, or maybe some Canadian securities authorities. These are the folks that Urban would have to worry about. Yes, we could sue him too, but not before he stood trial for the crime(s) itself. Even if he was found innocent of the criminal charges, we could still bring a civil suit, but the chances could be somewhat diminished.
So, I've said all of this to point out that it makes no sense for Urban to lie to us, as if this gains him something. What is Urban gaining by making investors believe for two or three more weeks?? He'd just be digging himself a bigger hole with the guys that hold the big hammer, the SEC.

I agree with your logic...
It will be quite interesting to see how the faithful naysayers react if shareholders begin to see a light at the end of this tunnel and realize that it's not an oncoming locomotive... but days of glory.
Urban has continued to expose himself through an over-the-top "GOT CMKX?" campaign, pleading the 5th on the stand, fighting revocation with the support of Maheu and Stoecklein, announcing a massive certificate pull, promising new management, desiring to be a Director, and now seeking Federal court opinion... and several other larger than life statements and actions... (million millionaires)
If CMKX is a scam perpetrated by Urban for "pump and dump" gains... he is clearly a sociopath for the psychiatry case studies... and mostly likely a criminal with bigger problems than misleading PRs...
But if CMKX is not a scam... Urban is a... hmmm... Time Will Tell.
